Televangelist Bishop Nereah Mbewa, founder of Hope for Good in Christ Church, has lost her mother.
She took to her Facebook account to break the painful news to all, including those who stood with her since she was admitted.
“Am sorry to inform you that I have lost my mother she has gone to be with the Lord this evening .may her soul rest in peace,.dance with angel mama,” she wrote.
Shortly after breaking the news, friends, flocks, followers and co-workers flooded her comment section with messages of condolence.
“Take courage even though it’s not easy may the good Lord comfort you and the entire family” said Nicholas Ochieng.
“My her soul rest in peace paster, I know that our God will strengthen u to overcome all this,” commented Judith Anyango
David Owino said, “Receive my heartfelt condolences Jalweny, the Lord comfort and strengthen you, your family and relatives. Her soul rest in peace.”
“Sorry for the loss. May her soul rest in peace. Receive my deepest condolences ,” shared Vincent K’Otieno.
On January 7th, the preacher reached out to her friends and followers to pray of her ailing mother, accompanied by her photo lying helpless in the hospital’s bed.
“In the mighty name of Jesus Christ the son of the living God … All shall be well through your prayer Amen,”
Unfortunately, it was her last days under the sun.
Bishop Mbewa is a darling to many especially by her darling sermons on Lolwe TV and Live preachings on Facebook.
She founded Hope for Good in Christ International Church after God spoke to her in 2013.
The church’s headquarter is in Homabay.
