Zuhura Othman Soud, better known by her stage name Zuchu, has released a new hit single titled Yalaaaa only 3 days ahead of her Homecoming show dubbed “Zuchu Homecoming Festival.”
In contrast to her song Nyumba Ndogo that has attracted millions of views, in Yalaaaa, Zuchu shows the other side of love by using her calm voice.
Zuchu shows how deep she is in love and how she finds happiness when her boyfriend overshadows her with love to an extent of asking for help from the ‘government.’
“Naiomba Serikali Kijana apelekwe mbali ananifanya silali siwezi kutafakari,” sings Zuchu in the second stanza of her song while responding with the word ‘Yalaaaa’ in her beautiful voice. (I request the government to take this boy far from me, he is denying me sleep and ability to think.)
On 3 hours after its releases, the song has attracted more than 100,000 viewers on Youtube and thousands of comments.
It can be remembered Zuchu is still doing well with the song Nyumba Ndogo whose video managed to get a million YouTube views within a single day.
Zuchu, who has risen to immense fame despite having only one year and three months inside Bongo Fleva, is currently preparing for her homecoming show in Zanzibar on August 21, 2021 at Amani Stadium.
She will will be accompanied by artists such as Jux, Gigy Money, Baba Levo, Dulla Makabila, Khadija Kopa, Mr. Blue, Lulu Diva and many others.
As a result, the 27-year old has appealed for protection from the police citing fear of insecurity because she is going to release a new song.
“Goma ninaloenda kuachia, naomba kuongezewa ulinzi, haki vile linaweza kuhatarisha maisha yangu,” said Zuchu. (Because of the song I am going to release, I request for more protection since such gathering could endanger her life.)
She will be performing in Zanzibar, her home place, on Saturday August 21, 2021.
